The exhibition was accompanied by a two-volume publication, consisting of an exhibition catalogue and an edition of selected art critical texts by Will Grohmann. The catalogue also tells some of the stories behind the paintings, informs about Grohmann’s personal relationships to the artists and their works, and traces the works’ often complicated provenances, which are often revealed for the first time. read more...

After the exhibition “In the Network of Modernism” closes in January 2013, the research project on Will Grohmann will continue. As in previous years, the Ferdinand-Möller-Stiftung will continue to support the work. The goal is to end the project by the end of 2015 with the publication of a comprehensive scholarly biography of Will Grohmann. read more...

In cooperation between Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden, Technische Universität Dresden (departments of media computer science and art history), and the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Dresden (department of spatial information), professors and students developed a concept for interactive media that visualizes Grohmann’s complex communicative network. read more...
